Anticipated games for 2010!WOW...it's 2010!
this year will blow out with games that will show the true potential of their corresponding console! Since the PS3 has been my main focus when it comes to selecting games; mainly purchasing, i will only be listing games for the PS3! Let's start off with SUPER Street Fighter IV! This game will add a bunch of new content that was said to be too much to be DLC. So they decided to make a whole new bundle instead. It has 10 new characters, with 8 coming from previous Street Fighter Games; Cody and Guy being the exceptions as they originally came out in Final Fight and later on debuting as full-fledged fighting characters in Alpha, and 2 whole new characters being Juri and Hakan. I think they also added about 4 or 5 new stages which one of them is the Construction site aiming to give out the Final Fight feel; which is somewhat obvious because Hugo is seen in the background and a statue of haggar can be seen in the distance! I really can't wait to get my hands on this game as it will be the first Street Fighter IV I own. No more having to go to a friend's house, or having to hit the arcades at Vermont [Family Arcade]. The next big thing about 2010 is of course, SPLATTERHOUSE! I haven't played a splatterhouse game since the mega drive. how awesome would it be to go back to that game in 3D? from what I know, he will be rocking out some Globe shoes! should I be excited? well they are offering Splatterhouse shoes on the website so that says something. What I am most excited about this game the most is that it will have GORE!!! oh yes...if you know me well enough you know I really love playing games that let me expose the insides of something like Red Earth or Dead Space. I tell you, this will be a game I see myself playing 10years after it's release date. I like beat 'em ups/brawlers specially since it's all basic and straight forward with no complicated controls or nothing like that. I have a very special connection with splatterhouse because I never get tired of swatting zombies and seeing them goo up the walls. I really love playing the roms on my PC since my mega drive doesn't work but I still have the games. The first time I heard about the PlayStation® move was early this year. I haven't been looking news or anything like that because of college. What I know about it is that it is the most sophisticated motion control to ever exist. I saw some gameplay and demonstrations about it and that's all it took for me to get excited about it. Sure people say the Natal has the upper hand because it's all body motion with just a camera or something, but there is a big chance of it failing over bugs and glitches that can occur while moving too fast or accidentally jumping off screen, but whatever I could care less. The Move has precise motion sensing as seen in the Motion FIghters demo, you can throw elbows, backhands, rock your opponent with your fist as fast as YOU move, and it is so precise it lets you grab your opponent in a headlock allowing you to smash on their heads. From what i know, the Motion and Navigation controllers will be sold seperately which is very bad because then you have to waste extra cash just to have a complete experience with certain games. NOW it is time to talk about SOCOM 4. There is so not much to talk about because I get every single SOCOM game anyway! Seth Louisi said that the Move will be integrated and just put in as a side feature. I have a feeling this will redeem the SOCOM IP from after what happened with SOCOM Confrontation! and I don't need to talk about it cause...it's just...anyway, Instead of the usual 4 man squad, this will be a 5 man squad or I mean 4man plus one chick squad! yes, for the first time ever, a Female spec-ops will be in the mix. At this time I am not sure where SOCOM 4 will take place exactly, but I think it's asia! like any other SOCOM game, it will include a multiplayer feature and it will use a similar tech Zipper used for MAG. Having 250 players in an FPS for the first time was a huge phenoma...now I want to see what they come out with for SOCOM 4. To conclude this year's anticipation talk, I hope none of my picks disappoint me...like SOCOM Confrontation. I always have high expectations that I commit to so for any developer out there...don't FUCK these games up because then i will have to do something drastic in order to get over the pain of a SHITTY game. Now enjoy watching gameplay footage of each game I mentioned! |
