I managed to fix that little problem I was having with my CPU. It turns out that the CPU fan was not making contact with the center of the CPU itself. I took what I felt was a risk and just placed a dab of thermal paste in thecenter and I placed the fan over it without spreading the paste and it worked like a charm. The CPU does not get as hot as it did before and now I know it's making contact. This also reduces the chances of getting air bubbles in a way since the fan is going to spread it under it's heat plate. I bench-marked a few of my games and got over 30 frames-per-second. I finally played Lost Planet with no lag at all and was a great experience knowing I can now enjoy my Steam library again. I am going to miss a few PSP games I didn't get to finish so I will try to take any opportunity to walk outside my house and play some. I'm off to play some vidya.
